Mission Statement

The Mizpah Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Christian-Congregation reflecting the biblical beliefs of the 7th day Sabbathand the second coming of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to restoring the image of God in man through the power of the Holy Spirit, ministering to the total person by way of Christian Education, Community Outreach, a Better Living Center and Evangelism.

Mizpah SDA Church has been an active church since the late 1930's.  It has been at it's present location since 1957 and houses in the main building the church sanctuary and in the north wing the Pre-K-8 Elementary academy.  It also serves the community through a Community Service Center at 4144 Broadway in Gary, IN.  We are here to be a beacon of light for the Three Angels Message for the people of Gary, IN.  We are led now by the Pastoral Team of Dr. Leeroy Coleman, Sister Lorraine Coleman and  family.  Contact Information Link

About Seventh-day Adventists
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will.
